  • Yes! I offer a free prenatal consultation. It’s a great opportunity for us to connect, I can answer any questions you may have, learn about your vision for your birth and see if we’re a good fit.

  • I care for families throughout the greater Los Angeles area and the surrounding communities, as well as the South Bay.

  • I do not accept insurance. I provide clients with an itemized superbill at the conclusion of care that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement for an out-of-network provider. I can provide referrals for medical billers who can help families file insurance claims for possible reimbursement AFTER the birth of your baby and can provide a benefits verification to verify what your insurance plan covers. Most PPO plans will cover some amount of midwifery services.

  • I offer a variety of services that support both home birth and hospital birthing families. Services include: comprehensive midwifery care including prenatal care, genetic testing and lab work, home birth, postpartum care, wellness and gynecology. Additional services include monitrice, birth doula, prenatal education classes, placenta encapsulation, virtual consultations and support and birth story processing.

  • Midwifery Care: Holistic clinical care that includes comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care, lab work, genetic testing, home birth services, and well-person and gynecological care.

    Monitrice Care: A combination of limited clinical care during labor at home, birth doula support during labor at a hospital and postpartum clinical care and support at home after hospital discharge.

    Birth Doula: Prenatal education and support, in-person labor support and postpartum support. No clinical care is provided.

  • I provide holistic individualized care that is family-centered and trauma informed. Each prenatal appointment is 60 minutes, which gives us time to build a bond during your pregnancy. Prenatal appointments are focused on whole person care, honoring the mental physical and spiritual journey you walk during pregnancy. I assess you and your baby’s well-being at every prenatal visit and provide education and resources to support that you maintain a healthy low-risk pregnancy. Midwifery postpartum care is comprehensive and includes 5 postpartum appointments as well as phone and text support. I assess you and your baby’s well-being at every appointment, provide lactation support, resources and more. 

  • I do not have hospital privileges. For hospital birthing families - clinical care provided is determined by the service package selected. Please see the Services page for further details.

  • Concurrent care means receiving midwifery care alongside your chosen hospital-based provider. This option is ideal for families who desire the continuity and holistic support of midwifery care while planning a hospital birth. I provide extended prenatal care focused on education, informed decision-making and individualized care, while your primary care is provided by your OB or hospital provider. During labor in the hospital, I remain in a non-clinical role, offering continuous doula support and collaborating respectfully with your medical providers.

  • Yes, the team will always consist of a minimum of two licensed midwives that are licensed by the Medical Board of California, are trained in birth emergency management and carry current certifications in neonatal resuscitation, CPR and BLS. 

  • Home birth is a safe option for healthy individuals with low-risk pregnancies. However, home birth is not a fit for everyone, and I honor that. If you change your mind and decide you would feel more comfortable in a hospital setting, that option will always be available to you.

  • If at any point during your prenatal care, labor, delivery, or postpartum, a concern arises that requires additional medical support, we will discuss your transfer options based on what clinical indications are presenting at the time. Your safety is always my first priority. If a hospital transfer is ever needed, I’ll be by your side and coordinate with the transferring provider and the hospital team to ensure that you feel supported every step of the way.

  • Absolutely! I love doulas and am committed to providing family-centered care.

  • The sooner the better! Some families reach out as soon as they know they are expecting. Others discover midwifery care as a desirable option later in pregnancy. I open to accepting clients at any time based on my availability.

  • All fees for services are due in full by 36 weeks gestation. I can provide referrals for medical billers who help families file insurance claims for possible reimbursement AFTER the birth of your baby. Little Honey Money allows you to register for your birth service fees, which enables your loves ones to support your birth in a beautiful and meaningful way. Most PPOs cover some amount of midwifery services.
