About

Meet the Midwife

My journey into midwifery began long before I knew it had a name. Growing up, I was surrounded by the rhythm and beauty of birth—my mom was a Lamaze instructor who taught childbirth classes right in our living room. As the oldest of four siblings and 16 grandchildren, I was raised with babies in my arms and birth stories in my ears. It all felt incredibly normal, yet deeply magical.

When my husband and I began our own path into parenthood, we dove headfirst into learning everything we could about pregnancy and birth. I was fortunate to have two unmedicated births with our sons in 2004 and 2006—both were profoundly transformative experiences that changed me forever.

For years, I explored other creative and administrative roles, but something kept calling me back to birth. I trained as a doula and began supporting families across Los Angeles—at home, in birth centers, and in hospitals. Over time, what began as whisper grew to a deep calling that I couldn’t ignore.

I followed that calling to the National Midwifery Institute, where I completed years of study and clinical apprenticeship. I’m honored to be a Licensed Midwife (LM) through the Medical Board of California and a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) through the North American Registry of Midwives.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families on their journey through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Being a midwife is truly one of the greatest honors of my life. I carry every family’s story with gratitude, and I approach every birth with reverence, humility, and love.
