Free Consultation
If you are interested in learning more about utilizing my services, I offer a free consultation via phone or in-person. This gives us a chance to get to know one another and for you to ask me any questions you may have.
On-Call
Once you have booked me as your Doula, I will be available for unlimited phone and email support as you prepare to welcome your baby into the world. I will be on-call for you 24 hours a day 7 days a week beginning at 38 weeks until the birth of your child. When I am on-call I will not consume alcohol, take any trips and I will not travel further than a 1 hour drive from where you plan to labor. My Doula bag is packed and I am ready to be at your side as soon as you need me.
2 Prenatal Visits
My service includes two prenatal visits. I will meet with you and your partner at your home prior to your labor and delivery. During these visits we will discuss any previous birth experiences, your desires for your upcoming labor and delivery, questions or concerns you may have and how I may best support you and your partner. We will review your birth plan, or if you do not have one, I will assist in creating a custom birth plan that works for you. We will do a walk-thru of your home, if you plan to labor there, to identify potential laboring locations, review comfort measures and practice laboring positions.

I will stay after the birth for 2 hours to support you and assist with the baby's first feeding. If you desire to breastfeed I can assist with positioning and helping achieve a good latch. I will be available for phone support after the birth for any questions or concerns you may have.
2 Postpartum follow-up visits
I will follow up with you by phone one to two days after the birth, to schedule your first postpartum visit within the first week of your baby arriving home. We will discuss your feelings about your birth experience, as well as how you and your family are adjusting to your new addition. Subjects frequently discussed are baby's feedings, sleep patterns, sibling bonding, diet, physical discomfort and the emotional journey you have taken as a new parent.
